Last weekend we did a full day makeover & modeling photo shoot for Lauren (14) at our photography studios. We had a great day and our photographers, make-up artist and Lauren between them, produced some great modeling portraits. It was Lauren’s first visit to our studios and the first time she had done any modeling which is hard to believe looking at the quality of the portfolio of shots she had by the end of the day.

Laurens father Chris, dropped her of at the studios at around 10:00 am and once we had taken the quick portrait of the two of them below, Chris went off for the day into Harrogate, one of Yorkshires finest towns, for a day of shopping and lunch, whilst we got on with Lauren’s modeling makeover.

Once Chris was on his way into Harrogate we began the modeling makeover for Lauren. The first job of the day was to discuss the type of shots we were going to produce for her portfolio, using the wardrobe of cloaths Lauren had brought and she did this with our stylist and make-up artist. They decided on the best way to use the garments she had with her and planned the type of make-up and hairstyle to be used with each outfit.

We were then able to get on with the makeover once we had an idea of the direction we were going in, and Lauren and our make-up artist set to work on the first look for our photographers to shoot.

Considering that this was Lauren’s first modeling photo shoot and she is 14 years old the modeling portfolio she produced in just one day was fantastic.

We at Linton Studios had a great time creating the make-up and photography for her modeling portfolio and were all really pleased with how the shots all came out.
