Baby Twin boys Will and Tom came down to our Leeds studios with their cousins Millie and Meg for their first portrait.

Family Portrait Christmas Present Voucher Leeds

Hello Guy’s, here are three of what I consider to be the best images from your photo shoot last week.

Two are in a square format, and the first one is a slightly landscape oriented rectangle. I have shown them in frames too, just to give you an idea. The images have been balanced for black and white printing and could be used as either wall canvas’ or art block panels as I showed you at the studio.

Our Family Portrait Photography is produced in and around our photographic studios in Wetherby which is central to Leeds Harrogate and York, set in beautiful grounds of the former Linton Springs Hotel.

The grounds outside our photographic studios are a great place for family portraits.

You can visit our photographic studios to have any type of family portrait taken. We can shoot portraits in either the beautiful grounds outside our studio, which offer a great variety of different private locations, or in our photographic studio itself, where we can create unlimited styles of family portraits for you to suit your requirements.

Our family portrait studios are located in the basement of Linton Park House just outside Wetherby.

We can also visit you at any location of your choice if your family are getting together for a special occasion such as an anniversary or birthday, at either your own home or perhaps a hotel or restaurant and bring all our studios equipment with us if required, to get the right shot for you.

Our studios are equipped with the very latest digital photographic equipment to enable us to produce great family portraits of the highest quality.

Our Family Portrait Photographic Studio

We can accommodate any size group of people at the studios and make everyone feel welcome and relaxed when you visit us for your family portrait. Obviously we are used to dealing with both young and old, our youngest client this year was just 12 days old!

Your family portrait can be produced as a printed and framed photograph, a wall hanging portrait on canvas or as a contemporary block mounted photographic art panel, all of which are available in many different sizes and styles at various prices to suit your budget.

Our studios are available for you to book at any convenient time for you and your family to get together. In addition to office hours, we work evenings and weekends to ensure that we can offer our services when you and your family need it.

A portrait sitting at our studios costs just £75 no matter how many people are in your portrait.

We will take as many photographs as required to be able to offer you a choice of great images to select from for your finished product. Your images will then be edited, air-brushed and colour balanced to get the very best possible from them, and will be made available for you to view on our website so that you and your family can see the finished selection.

The cost of £75 for your sitting fee is deductable from all of the following products.

2″ (45mm) Deep Wall Hanging Canvas.

20 x 16″ @ £250 (less sitting fee) = £175

24 x 20″ @ £300 (less sitting fee) = £225

24 x 24″ @ £345 (less sitting fee) = £270

32 x 20″ @ £370 (less sitting fee) = £295

30 x 30″ @ £470 (less sitting fee) = £395

40 x 30″ @ £570 (less sitting fee) = £495

All of the above sizes are as a guide, but we can make these products to any bespoke size you require.

A portrait on to canvas

Our wall hanging canvases are printed onto the best quality textured canvas material and are stretched over deep 2″ solid timber frames to give an art gallery quality to your finished portrait.

Your photography can also be turned in to a variety of stunning art styles should you wish it to match your interior at home.

So if you have a bright red settee (and some people do) then we can make your portrait fit just for you. We will have discussed your requirements in detail before your photoshoot session at our studios and will create a series of images to match your exact requirements.

If you require your portrait to be turned into a painting, we can do this too. Whatever you want from your canvas we can do for you, and any artwork is all included in the final cost of your wall hanging portrait.

Your canvas comes with a matt lacquered finish to ensure that it will last for years and years, and is in fact produced using light fast pigments at the printing stage, to ensure your portrait will last for hundreds of years.

Solid wood framed family portrait.

We can frame your family portrait up to any size you require, and in many different styles to suit the final location your portrait will be hung in your home.

This portrait of our 12 day old client was printed onto Kodak Black and White photo paper and then mounted into ivory art board and framed in a solid Ash frame for a very natural finished look.

As you can see, this portrait captured a very happy and contented looking child, and shows why we love working with children so much because they are always beautiful and well behaved, aren’t they?

The overall size measured 20 x 20″ and had a cost of £225 which less the sitting fee was £150 for the finished framed portrait, which will last the family a lifetime as a truly irreplaceable momento of their baby’s first few days.

This style of frame is also available in other types of timber as well as in either black, white or silver.

We offer gold, silver and dark bronze options in this range of products, and these seem to cover many clients requirements when matching to their own interiors.

The large silver framed portrait in black and white looked stunning at it’s finished size of 30 x 30″ The silver frame has a brushed finish and has a second matching inner frame in brushed silver around the inside edge of the mount giving a lovely deep finish to the finished portrait.

All the colour options in this style of framing have the same matching inner frame which can be used to match both the image and your interior at home giving a feel of real quality to your photography.

The 30 x 30″ framed portrait costs £420 which less your sitting fee is £345 as a finished item for your home. Some high street franchises have been known to charge over £800 for such an item, but we don’t have the need to charge such prices and feel that we offer excellent quality and value for money to all our clients.

Portrait Photography of Luke

Luke came down to the studio last weekend to have his first portrait session aged just 9 months.

He was as good as gold in the studio and we were really pleased with the finished images we got of him. The only problem now for Lukes Mum and Dad, is selecting one as their main framed or canvas image and should it be colour or black and white?

We could of course produce something using several different images on if you wish, if you like the idea of this just let me know and we can get to work on it for you. Anyway, here are the best images from his family photo shoot session, I hope you like them.

Hi Mel & John, Tracey & Ian. Here are the portraits we took last weekend for you to have a look at, I hope you like them!

Mel & John were visiting their family back in the UK from Australia and these are the family portraits our photographer produced of them when they called in at our studios. As it was such a nice day we decided to shoot their portraits outside in the grounds of our photographic studios which gave us a beautiful background for their portraits.

Here are the best group portraits we shot at the studio last weekend of Emma and her family.

I hope you like them Emma, let me know which images you require your prints producing with. I prefer the black and white images especially of the larger group shot, as it looks more coordinated, but thats just me, you can select any images you wish. As we shot so many I have combined different images together already to get everyone looking at their best in each shot, so I hope you are happy with the finished results.

Kidnapp your friends Kids…..

….and have them shot for Christmas!

If you can get hold of your friends kids and get them to hold a vow of silence, then take the little darlings down to your local photographic studio and have the guys there make a great surprise present for your friend for Christmas.
No gift is more personalised than a photographic portrait, and if you can keep it quiet, then it will probably be the biggest surprise they will get over the holidays.
A customer came to our company in Wetherby, Yorkshire UK and had a surprise portrait produced for their friends 40th Birthday.
“It went down a storm” said Jonny the photographer who produced the portrait.
You can see the kid who was shot here in this portrait.
The portrait was converted into a large art panel, ready to hang (as if the kid hadn’t been through enough!), and given to his mum buy the group of friends who had clubbed together to pay for the portrait sitting.
“Shocked and stunned…” is how Tracey, who had done the kidnapping, described her friends reaction to her surprise birthday present, “…followed by delighted!”
If you can safely arrange to have a surprise photographic portrait done for a friend or relative of someone they love, then you could be giving them a truly priceless gift which will be treasured forever.
