Dominique’s Studio Portraits

Here are the portraits we took of Dominique when she came down to our photographic studios in Wetherby for an afternoon photo shoot last week.

Dominique brought along her friend Jo to help her out with hair and make-up so we took some portraits of Jo too. This was the first time either of them had been in a photography studios so I think that judging by the finished shots we got between us they did very well. They were both great in front of camera, listened and learned a lot and got better and more confident as the photo shoot went on.

I hope you like your finished images Dominique and Jo. Below I have shown each portrait in both colour and a black and white version for you.

Well there you go Dominique, I hope you both like your portraits. You can copy any of the above images to use on-line on Facebook or where ever else you wish to use them and can you let me know which ones you would like printing into your portfolio book.

Illiana’s modeling photo shoot

Illiana is over here in Leeds from New York, so she took the opportunity to come down to our photographic studios for a modeling photo shoot and makeover.

We used a variety of different backgrounds to produce many different styles of portrait for Illiana’s portfolio. She brought a great selection of her wardrobe with her which made our stylists and photographers jobs much easier when designing the look of each shoot.

This was a full day studio photo shoot, so we sent a car to collect Illiana on time so we could get on with the day as soon as we could. Here are the best images from each of the photo sets we shot on the day.

Emma and her friends came up to our studios in Leeds today for a makeover and portrait session.

We never put portraits on-line the same day as we shoot them, as a photo shoot takes so long to edit and prepare ready for print.

But these girls were so keen to see a few of there pics today, that after a bit of persistent nagging/begging I conceded and said I would pop a few portraits on for them, just to keep them going until all their photographs are processed next week.

So here you are girls, I hope you like these few samples from your photo shoot and that you had a good trip back from Leeds. You should be just about home now as I write!

All the photographs have been air brushed and re-touched to give you a varied and wide selection of portraits for your modelling agency portfolio. We think that they make a great collection of different image styles and they really reflect the hard work you put into them on the day of your shoot.

Jennifer & Ben’s portraits

Hello Guy’s, here are three of what I consider to be the best images from your photo shoot last week.

Two are in a square format, and the first one is a slightly landscape oriented rectangle. I have shown them in frames too, just to give you an idea. The images have been balanced for black and white printing and could be used as either wall canvas’ or art block panels as I showed you at the studio.

Dance studio photography for Catrina

We produced this dance photography as part of an afternoon modeling photo shoot in our photographic studios in Leeds for Catrina.

Catrina is a dance student in London and she came to our Leeds photographic studios for an afternoon photo shoot for us to produce a photographic portfolio of images.

Last weekend we did a full day makeover & modeling photo shoot for Lauren (14) at our photography studios. We had a great day and our photographers, make-up artist and Lauren between them, produced some great modeling portraits. It was Lauren’s first visit to our studios and the first time she had done any modeling which is hard to believe looking at the quality of the portfolio of shots she had by the end of the day.

Laurens father Chris, dropped her of at the studios at around 10:00 am and once we had taken the quick portrait of the two of them below, Chris went off for the day into Harrogate, one of Yorkshires finest towns, for a day of shopping and lunch, whilst we got on with Lauren’s modeling makeover.

Once Chris was on his way into Harrogate we began the modeling makeover for Lauren. The first job of the day was to discuss the type of shots we were going to produce for her portfolio, using the wardrobe of cloaths Lauren had brought and she did this with our stylist and make-up artist. They decided on the best way to use the garments she had with her and planned the type of make-up and hairstyle to be used with each outfit.

We were then able to get on with the makeover once we had an idea of the direction we were going in, and Lauren and our make-up artist set to work on the first look for our photographers to shoot.

The best description of the results of the photo shoot is to look at the modeling portfolio we shot for her. We took hundreds of portraits during the long day, and selected the following photographs for her modeling makeover portfolio.

Considering that this was Lauren’s first modeling photo shoot and she is 14 years old the modeling portfolio she produced in just one day was fantastic.

We at Linton Studios had a great time creating the make-up and photography for her modeling portfolio and were all really pleased with how the shots all came out.
